HOW IT WORKS: List the patients by room, first name only, patient initials, ID number, bed number, or any privacy description. Then use the 1” square magnets to code the discipline each patient needs, write the amount of time each patient receives for each therapy. The schedule covers a full 31 days. A “Notes” section is provided to keep track of progress or setbacks. Sometimes therapies proceed so well that future assignments can be limited or ended - use the smiley/frown double-sided manget to show patient’s progress or limitations and explain in the “Notes” section. The “Notes” section can also be used to remind the therapists to refer the patient for other services such as nutritionist, social services, home health aides, or diabetes counseling. Keeping better records helps both the patient and the therapists. Audits and reviews will be easier to conduct and receive a good rating.
